Why We Do It
Inventing new things is human nature. Here are a few reasons we are building Maker Mesh:
- Remove barriers so you can put computer ideas into the real world (even if it is stupid)
- Enhanced collaboration for the 3d printing community on designs and manufacturing methods
- Reduce the carbon footprint of shipping by printing locally
- Make it easier for people to get their hands on cool stuff
- Save amazing creators from obselence due to lack of "marketing" (gross)
- Gather and store data on printers, slicer profiles, materials, and costs to make 3D printing a legitimate form of manufacturing
